Reaching base station 🙂
Riederalp can be reached only by cable-car from Mörel, no cars are allowed except snowmobile taxis.
By car : You have to let your car on one of the two parkings near the station
By train : reach Brig and then take the “mountain train” that reach Mörel from Brig (20min train from brig)
There is 2 cables, but you have to take the bigest one. you can check the timetable here (don’t miss the last one if you reach Mörel late)
You will reach Riederalp-Mitte in about 12min, climbing more than 1000 meters. if you have headache drink enough water and take Ibuprofen or Paracetamol.
Reaching Märjelen-Apartement
Märjelen-Dachwonhung is about 500m far from the cable-car station
